More products receive Design Awards
Three products, five awards – Aesculap succeeds at the Red Dot Design Award 2020. The B. Braun division Aesculap won five awards with three products at the "Red Dot Award: Product Design". The cornerstone for this recognition is a design philosophy that focuses more strongly on the user. This approach is expressed in the award-winning products, the OrthoPilot® Elite navigation system, the associated control unit Multitool and the new container system generation. In addition to the positive customer feedback, the growing number of design awards shows the success of the approach.

Pennies from Heaven
B. Braun holds the Pennies from Heaven PLATINUM award status in recognition of almost 70% of employees participating in the scheme. We received a lovely message of thanks from Maggies, one of the Pennies from Heaven charities that
B. Braun support:
“I just wanted to get in touch, to say thank you to you and your colleagues at B. Braun for the donation which we received through the Pennies from Heaven scheme last week. Thanks to B. Braun’s support, we will be on hand to support people with cancer and their families throughout the UK. The repercussions of the coronavirus health crisis are being gravely felt by our visitors and in many cases, are having a devastating impact. Many of our visitors are experiencing heightened anxiety due to disruption to their cancer treatment, coupled with loneliness from self-isolating, away from their loved ones. Your donation could not be more timely, as we work over the coming year to provide vital support for everyone who needs it.”

Supporting business, supporting customers
Over the last 12-18 months the requirement for educational training videos from B. Braun has increased. To date we have created content for Clinical Nutrition, Drug Admixture, Intravenous Therapy and our range of Infusion Pumps.
The vision was to use these education videos to supplement the clinical education support given to trusts by B. Braun during implementations. However, during the current COVID-19 crisis these videos have been vital in supporting the changing need to deliver business remotely.
