Laparoscopy – Small incision, faster recovery

Every surgical procedure represents stress for the patient. For this reason, laparoscopy uses a minimally invasive surgical approach – because less invasive procedures usually mean shorter recovery times. The patient is able to return to normal life more quickly. At the same time, there are no compromises: The expected success of the procedure must be equivalent to or even greater than that of open surgery.

We want to help shape the future of laparoscopy. Motivated by our desire to explore new approaches in visualisation, seal & cut solutions and high-precision instruments, in particular, we focus on the systematic further development of the EinsteinVision® 3D camera system, vessel sealing instruments such as Caiman® and DS appendicectomy clips, as well as hand-held instruments.
