NRFit® Success Stories

West Hertfordshire NHS Trust recently moved from Luer connectors to NRFit connectors as per the Patient Safety Alert issued by NHS improvement.
Joe Marshall from B. Braun Medical Ltd. was very helpful, prompt and accommodating during the pre-implementation phase. 
Joe helped us with posters and making the various departments aware of the change.

For a week after the transition Joe and his team made themselves available at two sites to help with any unforeseen issues.
We did have a few problems and Joe made it possible for us to overcome them at short notice.

All in all, we are very happy with the quality of service that Joe has provided.

At Portsmouth Hospitals in 2018 we began the process of introducing NRFit into Theatres and Maternity. The available products limited us to Spinals and Nerve Block Needles and associated accessories in the first phase. After a successful trial with a select group of colleagues we adopted our chosen products and implemented over a period of two weeks. The project team consisted of myself, our Clinical Nurse Specialist, Procurement and the company rep. The implementation went as expected and the support given by B. Braun and the positive attitude of the anaesthetic staff made the project a success. Following the successful implementation we have been delighted with the needles and syringes and are now in the process of completing the project with the implementation of Epidural sets.
