It places the company, which operates nine dialysis centres across the UK, in the top 15 percent of all IiP-certified organisations nationally to achieve the silver award from the UK's leading people management standard.

Silver accreditation recognises exceptional levels of people management practices, innovative approaches and support for people to deliver the organisation’s ambition.

B. Braun Avitum UK, part of Sheffield-based B.Braun Medical Ltd, have held standard IIP accreditation since 2007, and have been striving for silver since passing their last assessment in 2016.

As part of the 2020 assessment, employees were given the opportunity to complete an online survey to give their feedback on key themes, a higher than average IIP response rate of 68% was achieved and staff members from across the company were interviewed to help get a real understanding of both strengths and areas to focus on for the future.
