Even with the best management of your condition complications may arise.
In this case, you will experience one of the following:
- Hypoglycaemia
- Hyperglycaemia
- Potentially a diabetic coma (a possible consequence of hyperglycaemia)
The important thing is that you recognise the symptoms.

Medical Emergency Phone Call
In any case of emergency please contact your local emergency number.
Carry your diabetic emergency ID card on your person at all times.
Write your doctor's telephone number on the emergency ID card and inform your doctor if you are having or have had a severe hypo.
