Intermittent catheterisation with Actreen®

photos produits

Intermittent catheterisation is the act of passing a thin hollow tube called a catheter into the bladder in order to drain urine, and removing it immediately afterwards when drainage has ceased. This procedure may be performed several times per day in accordance with advice given by a health care professional.  Intermittent Self Catheterisation (ISC) empowers a person with emptying problems to gain control of when they empty their bladder, and is seen as the ‘gold standard’ in urinary catheterisation.

Actreen catheters offer discretion, ease of use and comfort; the completely ready to use solution for ISC.

Actreen® catheters are ready to use

Coated with a glycerin gel, Actreen® catheters are immediately ready to use, with no need to add water.

  • No preparation phase
  • No waiting time before catheterisation
  • No mess, no splash.

No risk of drying out

Actreen® lubricant is proven to keep the catheter fully lubricated for up to 60 min(*)
