Ecoflac® plus is compatible to all common IV spikes, providing a secure connection between the container and the infusion set. The container is easy to spike while standing. During the infusion, Ecoflac® plus collapses fully without need for external venting, allowing for closed system administration.

Infusion set insertion

The Ecoflac® plus design allows it to stand upright ensuring easy and safer spiking while reducing the risk of sharps injuries. The properties of the resealable port membrane of the Twincap port also help prevent coring of elastomeric particles when pierced.

Secure connection

The Ecoflac® plus Twincap port provides a good holding force between the container and the infusion spike, in order to help prevent any risk of accidental disconnection, even with siliconised spikes. Once inserted, the spike stays firmly connected to the container.

Closed system infusion

The design of the Ecoflac® plus allows complete emptying of the container without external venting. This closed system helps reduce the risks of contamination of the solution[1] [2] [3]. With Ecoflac® plus, a constant flow rate is delivered to the patient over time, to help improve infusion monitoring and patient safety. The graduation scale on the label is easy to read and shows accurately the delivered volume.
