Renal Care Center Antibes

About us

We perform two sessions per day at the center, and we open during summer evenings to welcome tourist patients. In the dialysis unit with medical care, we perform three sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and two sessions on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The Riviera Centre welcomes tourist patients all year round: do not hesitate to contact us directly in order to determine the best possible management conditions for you. We perform standard hemodialysis as well as HDF at all the stations. All our Dialog+ dialysis machines include the session quality-monitoring module called Adiméa. The water purification system is equipped with double reverse osmosis and the high grade AQUAboss equipment. The nursing staff is in charge of the treatment of 3 patients in the center area, and 4 patients in the dialysis unit with medical care. A pharmacist and a pharmaceutical assistant are on hand 5 half-days per week to dispense drugs and sterile medical devices. This is a regulatory requirement in France. A technician who has been trained in the maintenance of water treatment and dialysis machines is on hand full time. The nephrologists associated with the center, Doctors Geneviève Achin and Jean François Verdier, are on hand throughout all sessions. The center has been ISO 9001 and Good Dialysis Practices certified. Since 2004, it has been certified at the highest level by the High French Healthcare Authority. Our quality approach aims to provide patients with a service that is likely to meet their expectations while ensuring a pleasant reception and maximal quality and safety throughout their medical management.

Located at the heart of the beautiful French Riviera between Cannes and Nice, Antibes has been a popular place of leisure since the antiquity. The city was founded by the Greeks as Antipolis in the 5th century before Christ (BC) and became a major Mediterranean port of call due to the beauty of its coastline. In 1482, the province was incorporated in the French kingdom with the “Comté de Nice” (Nice County). In the 17th century, King Louis XIV entrusted Lord Vauban with the fortification of the city and gave the fortress its current appearance. In 1887, the name Côte d’Azur was given and marked a turning point for the Riviera area including Antibes and the recent quarter of Juan-les-Pins.

Today:
Every summer in July, the international Jazz festival opens the season in the Juan-les-Pins pine forest facing the sea and the Lérins islands. There are still some painters and writers who have truly made a cultural garden of the Cote d’Azur.
You may admire the works of Picasso at the Château Grimaldi, archaeology at the Fort Carré, the cathedral by walking along the cobbled streets.

Antibes is the largest yachting harbour in Europe with 25 kms of quays including the famous ‘Billionaire’s Quay’ where the most beautiful yachts in the world can dock (up to 165 meters long).

In June, the ‘Voiles d’Antibes’ event welcomes the most beautiful sailboats in the world for a race under the Cote d’Azur sunshine.

The ‘Marineland’ sea park offers young and old to enjoy amazing shows of orcas (killer whales), dolphins and sea lions, and to see many species of tropical fish in the aquarium, all year round. The Provencal food market, rich in colors and smells from the South invites you to taste Mediterranean cooking
