Observing Albumin removal during HDF

The  elimination of uremic toxins as well as the albumin removal varies with different dialyzer, HDF conditions and patient population.1,2

xevonta allows an highly efficient elimination of middle molecules and other uremic toxins, but restricts the loss of serum-albumin to 1.1±0.2 g/session for xevonta with the largest surface area of 2.3 m² when used under post-dilution HDF conditions using high convective volumes3
