OrthoPilot® Received the Renowned iF Product Design Award 2008
As the world leader for orthopaedic navigation the OrthoPilot® has set the standards in the implantation of knee and hip prosthesis with more than 800 units sold since the first surgery in 1997.
Since the second quarter 2008 the next generation of OrthoPilot® is available on the market to continue this exceptional success story. As the worldwide only navigation system the new OrthoPilot® can be adapted according to the needs and requests of the customer by using optional modules. Due to its compact size it can be easily integrated in any operating theatre.
Before the official launch of the new OrthoPilot® it has been awarded in December 2007 with the iF product design award 2008 in the category Medicine/Health + Care for its ergonomic and thoughtfulness design.
