Semi-automated compounding

Gri-fill® 4 

Gri-fill® 4  is a semi-automatic compounding system engineered for drug reconstitution and preparation of IV medications. Gri-fill® 4  efficiently fills IV bags, syringes, cassettes, and elastomeric devices, including B. Braun’s elastomeric pumps: Easypump® II. Ideal for both batch and patient-specific production, Gri-fill® 4  is designed to handle hazardous and non-hazardous compounded sterile preparations. The entire process of drug reconstitution and container filling is seamlessly integrated into one streamlined operation.

Antibiotics

Gri-fill® 4  supports pharmacy preparation of antibiotics in OPAT pathways helping to support aseptic efficiencies and output.

Manual filling of elastomeric devices by hand can be labour-intensive and increases risk of repetitive strain injury (RSI). Gri-fill® 4  helps reduce these issues, by promoting a semi-automatic process in pharmacy.

Dedicated Accessories

Dedicated accessory for filling via the volumetric pump, pre-assembled with syringe and waste bag for efficient set up.

Dedicated accessory for filling with the peristaltic pump.

Bag with a 0.2 micron filter to maintain sterility throughout the compounding process.

Available in sizes: 100mL, 250mL, 500mL and 1000mL.

Allows the connection of six liquid vials of the same concentration.

  • Creates a single virtual pooled container.
  • Use for reconstitution and dosing of up to six vials [optional].

Web-based software to manage production of up to five Gri-fill’s, facilitating optimal management of preparation orders.
