Now in it’s 12th year, the B. Healthy B. Braun programme has become a cornerstone of community outreach, developed as a corporate social responsibility initiative by the B. Braun Sheffield Sharks and Hatters. The programme has engaged over 11,000 students, enhancing the health of children and their families across the region, particularly South Yorkshire.
Whirlow Hall Farm Trust is an educational trust based on a working farm that provides farm-based activities and vocational skills programmes for children, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds
As a supporter of the Trust for over a decade, B. Braun is now helping to fund 'The Outdoor Classroom' project, which aims to enhance the Trust's educational programmes by providing shelter and resources for year-round outdoor learning, allowing children to connect with nature regardless of weather conditions.
Over 20 years of working with YAA has led to offering valuable event management skills and advice and keeping this important charity staying in the air.
Our Employee Sponsorship Scheme encompasses Arts, Sports and Culture - activities that bring people together and fill them with passion. Supporting these activities means that B. Braun employees, and their circles, get the opportunity to help shape our society, to give it new impetus, and enable people to have unforgettable experiences.

B. Braun promotes the taking part in volunteering opportunities and encourages employees to volunteer for activities in the local community. Each year, B. Braun UK employees are eligible for up to one paid day for volunteering in the community.
B. Braun also offer the opportunity to support volunteering projects that span longer than one day on a case-by-case basis reviewed by the Volunteering Committee.

B. Braun’s Social Value Programme drives measurable impact through six ESG-aligned themes, promoting sustainability, inclusion, and wellbeing. Progress is tracked quarterly and reported to the UK Executive Committee.
B. Braun Medical achieved Level 1 for 2025/26 Evergreen Sustainable Supplier Assessment with plans to work towards achieving Level 2.

Comprising of B. Braun UK colleagues with environmental, social or governance integral to their roles, the team collaborate on and share KPIs and metrics in our Social Value Programme. Progress is subsequently assessed by nominated members of the Sustainability Steering Group, who provide regular reports to the UK Executive Committee, ensuring accountability at every level.
