A wide range of B. Braun solutions for infusion are available in Ecoflac® Plus, which are used for administration of fluid and essential electrolytes for maintenance, correction and replacement. Additionally, a range of pre-mixed injectable drugs are also available in Ecoflac® Plus.

B. Braun's small volume parenterals come in 3 different types of plastic ampules.

Mini-Plasco® Basic is tall, square and thin which allows more ampules to be packaged for the size of the box, making it an efficient way to transport and store the products. It also features a Luer connector to allow connection of a syringe.

Mini-Plasco® Connect is short, cubic, has a twist off cap and features a Luer connector to allow connection of a syringe, which helps reduce microbial and particle contamination, helps to protect against needle-related injuries and sharps injuries, reduction of handling steps.

Irrigation

Ecobag®

Large volume bags with irrigation solutions are used for surgical interventions, rinsing and cleansing of urinary catheters, endoscopic examinations of a body cavity and arthroscopy.

Ecobag® is available in various volumes for irrigation procedures. The ports on the Ecobag® have protective break off caps that are sterile and reseal. The bags are colour coded for easy identification.
