I’ve been registered as a Children’s nurse for 23 years since graduating with a Bachelor of Nursing Honours degree.
Much of my nursing career has been spent working in Southampton General Hospital in Cardiothoracic, Surgical and High Dependency specialty areas.
In more recent years, I have been employed in a clinical role in the Healthcare Industry working in partnership with the NHS to facilitate the achievement of national and local NHS targets with particular interest in patient safety.
I enjoy actively engaging with healthcare staff, working together to deal with challenges, implement practice improvement and seeking out the best solutions in improving patient care.
I have an enthusiastic and confident approach to my Clinical Therapy Manager role, and I thrive on working as part of a team.
I qualified 18 years ago as a Registered General Nurse and advanced my clinical skills working in the Medical Assessment and Emergency Medicine departments at the University Hospital of North Midlands.

I began my nursing career as a Registered Nurse 22 years ago, specialising in Renal Medicine and High Dependency at NHS Lanarkshire. Gaining skills in Acute and Chronic Renal Medicine, I’ve also worked in partnership with The British Heart Foundation to tackle health inequalities in deprived areas of the community.

I am a registered Midwife who has been working at University Hospitals of Bristol and Weston. I have gained experience throughout the NHS Maternity Services from Antenatal Clinic to Neonatal Intensive Care.

I’m a qualified Adult Nurse with a BA Honours Degree in Adult Nursing. I am trained to deliver RCN accredited theoretical and practical cannulation courses, as well as providing training and education on a wide range of medical and intravenous devices, both in clinical and classroom environments. I work closely alongside NHS facilities, education institutes and clinical skills teams.
I have experience as an Intensive Care Nurse, Forensic Nursing and Emergency Department Nursing in areas around the North West. I still work clinically in order to maintain my professional registration and to keep up-to-date with clinical changes and regulations.
