The Great Container Exchange
To support hospitals’ sustainability and recycling initiatives, we’re offering up to 40% discount on new containers when your used and quarantined containers are donated for recycling.
The Container Journey
Once donated through The Great Container Exchange at our Technical Services site, containers are collected and sorted for recycling. Materials suitable for recycling - including those from containers not originally supplied by us* - are passed on to our waste solutions partner, Veolia. From there, the metal is melted down and reused, following a circular economy approach that gives the container materials a new life beyond their original purpose.
Your donation, your refurbishment
For every 10 containers** donated you’re entitled to a tray refurbishment of an instrument set of your choice, free of charge.

Terms and Conditions
1. Container lids and/or bottoms and of any make/brand.
2. Discount off of the list price of the equivalent number of donated lids and/or bases, to a maximum of 30 containers (30 bases and 30 lids, or a combination of both to a total of 60 items) on each purchase order.
3. Offer applies to existing rigid container users only and contingent on the return of quarantined containers.
* Amount of material recycled depends on the container donated.
** 10 containers (10 bases and 10 lids, or a combination of both to a total of 20 items).
